CGP FOUNDATION, INC. IS FORMED!
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The latter part of 2005 and early part of 2006 was a busy time for Country Goes Pink. After having a very successful first time event, those that were intimately involved looked to the future and determined that Country Goes Pink needed to be able to stand on its own.
The first order of business was to preserve the use of our logo. Trademark application was filed with the United States Trademark Office in October, 2005.
The second order of business was to create a corporation and, in December 2005, the CGP Foundation, Inc. was formed in the State of Maryland. The mission of CGP Foundation, Inc. still stands and we are still focused on benefiting women with cancer.
In January 2006, CGP Foundation, Inc. completed the necessary forms to receive an IRS 501 C(3) designation which was granted on March 20, 2006. This designation will allow us to create and broaden out-reach programs that meet the mission of CGP Foundation, Inc.CGP Foundation, Inc. would like to introduce you to its Board of DIrectors and Officers:
